Back in the Saddle
I baked bread again after more than 3 months of strike. I stopped when I got too pregnant and lazy. That was the middle of June, and I figured my first batch would be like starting over. But to my delight, it turned out great. Plus I'm getting back to cooking real meals again too. We've been living off Degiorno, Mac & Cheese, and (the Godbold staple) quesadillas. I even cleaned the house today. It was amazing Brooklyn and Jackson both helped pick up toys with no complaining. We actually had fun doing it. Come to think of it, I must be living in an alternate reality or something. The girls even took a nap at the same time. Oh, I must have woke up in the Twilight Zone this morning. This is too much. The only sad thing is that Dayne is in Idaho tonight, so I am alone. But I don't feel sad about it because I took the kids to Jamba Juice after dinner, and since they have been so good today they deserved it. I put them to bed and now I get to watch whatever I want on TV. Life is good.

Wow Super Mom! I'm impressed. Will you teach me how to make bread?
Don't you just love those days!! It's too bad they come few and far between though.
