Christmas Letter from the kids this year

So this year I am sending the kids version of the family newsletter. Enjoy...

Dear Santa,

In the Godbold house we have all been so good this year! None of us have committed anything more than a minor infraction of the law. Us kids, bless our hearts, have tried our best, and most importantly, we are all still alive. That is really something Mom should get the credit for.

Just to remind you of who we are (we know you've got a lot of people on your list), we are the Godbolds. Ours is the tree that is only ever decorated on the top half. And you remember those spectacular cookies from last year? Well, we can definitely promise more where that came from, especially if you deliver for us as well as you have in the past.

Here is a little run down on the family since it has been a whole year since we last wrote. Daddy has been doing his best to wrestle with us and take us fishing. He tries really hard, so could you cut him some slack this year and leave something nice for him under the tree?

Mom has been doing a great job of making sure we all eat dinner together. She could use some improvement on keeping the house a little cleaner, but we can overlook that for all the hugs and kisses she gives us. Oh, and we know she does a lot of yelling sometimes, but, to be honest, its kinda fun to watch.

Jackson has been a great big brother. No complaints there. He plays with us and gives good intel on how to get around Mom and Dad. He is looking forward to getting everything on his Christmas list (see page 2 for details).

Brooklyn has been playing both sides pretty equal this year. She definitely knows how to drive us all crazy, but she also keeps us all laughing. And we do love to laugh at our house. She really loves anything with a princess on it, but a few rubber lizards would make her pretty happy too.

Dakotah has learned to say your name this year! She doesn't really get what Christmas is all about, but we're pretty sure that after you visit this year she'll figure it out pretty quick. She gets into everthing now, but we don't mind because she's so cute.

Levi really isn't old enough to get into trouble, so we are sure you can include him on your nice list. All he wants for Christmas is his two front teeth. Actually any teeth would be appreciated. He's hoping to sink them into a whole lot of goodies before the holidays are through.

Well, that about wraps it up. We are sure excited for you to come! Mom and Dad are pretty laid back about things and that makes us a little nervous. This is no time to get too relaxed. We hope you are feeling well and ready for your big trip!

Yours Truly,
The Godbold kids

P.S. Brooklyn would like to know, does Rudolph's mom have a red nose too? You can leave a note with your answer.
