Jackson-Since starting school he has developed an attitude. He comes home from school in a bad mood, but I hear that may be a trait he shares with his cousin Lexi. Our solution was to get him a punching bag. For $5 he can tear into a plastic, air-filled bag to take out his aggression (and believe me, he does take out aggression on it). He says he likes school and everyone is nice to him, so I believe he just needs some time when he gets home to relax before I bombard him with questions about what he learned and how the day went.
Brooklyn-My little energizer bunny keeps me on my feet. You'd think I would have lost more weight by now. She has taken over as the head of the house when Dayne and Jackson are gone. We are now starting our potty training, but it is slow going. She has gone a couple times, but mostly she just wants to run around naked. The only way I can keep her on the potty is to sit right in front of her and sing songs. She even makes up her own (quite an imagination). It reminds me of the little girl on Monsters Inc. when she's in the bathroom singing.
Dakotah-My angel baby, she is now smiling at us all on a regular basis. And what a grin she has. Her whole face beams and her eyes light up. She is really getting her own look now and getting cuter by the minute. (And I'm not biased or anything.) Dayne and I like to joke about what it takes to make a cute baby.

I'm glad to hear the kids are doing good. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one with a child that is not interested in sharing every detail of school the minute they get home. It definitely is a Godbold trait - I mean, you can tell Jackson got that from his Dad! I'm sure Dayne always comes home from work very chipper. If you say he does, I know that you're lying! Also, I love the disclaimer - I'll have to show Ben because he'll think that's really funny!
